I just had an idea about a slight change in the turbo boost sequence and thought I'd put it out there to see what others thought.
Would it look cool if the shot went through the engine (as we have now) but have the shot continue right out the exhaust pipe away from the car so we see the car launch off the ground?
Effetely this would be like the scene in Fast and Furious where the camera goes through the engine and comes out behind the car and then see the car drive off, except we would see the car TAKE off. lol
Just seems to me that if we're going to see the camera go into the engine at turbo boost time we might as well complete the journey and then see the result.

This is the problem... why would you want Knight Rider to BE LIKE Fast and Furious to begin with? I actually am tired of seeing the CGI shot which delays the real-time effect. I would much rather see KITT jump instantly from the time the button/voice command is activated.

I have an idea for Turbo Boost! Drive a Ford Mustang over a ramp really really fast. It will Jump.

Exactly! why can't they do that at least once, and reuse the video, integrate it into different scenes with digital editing,etc.??Kram061-1 wrote:I have an idea for Turbo Boost! Drive a Ford Mustang over a ramp really really fast. It will Jump.

Actually thats not a bad idea. Do it in front of a green screen and film from multiple angles so it can be used in different ways via CGI.seeker78 wrote:Exactly! why can't they do that at least once, and reuse the video, integrate it into different scenes with digital editing,etc.??Kram061-1 wrote:I have an idea for Turbo Boost! As for my previous post, I was trying to be constructive and work with what we have. I honestly think the producers have already listened to the fans as much as they are going to and are now on their own journey with the show.

No, don't take it wrong, that isn't anything against you, you're right too.....but I said a while ago, in another thread, jump the Mustang, with a take-off And Landing ramp, with about 25 different camera angles, green screen anything you want, and reuse the footage....the car will not be damaged , the landing ramp will absorb the impact of the landing. And you have your Turbo Boost for the entire season. And you could do a Ski-Mode that way too.
