Whats the story with CG now in the new series???

Alex Torres is running the 'SSC' or "kittcave"

Billy and Zoe are doing stuff all the time (especially Billy, i wouldnt miss Zoe really unless she proves vital to future plots....)

Charles only seems sort of incidental in terms of the 'SSC' but always there as the diapproving father figure....

We know he's Sarah's dad but he needs a function in the SSC too....

oh and KITT needs to stop calling him 'Dr Graiman' unless they explain in the script somewhere that KITT has had a reboot (around the time the 'transformation' software was uploaded) because KITT used to be much more personal with Charles AND Mike...

I'd kind of like to see mike and Charles go on a mission together- their relationship needs to be fleshed out.

It's true that's inconsistent with the backdoor pilot, but the old KITT did refer to Devon as "Mr. Miles" for at least half of the first season.

I agree though that this Torres guy seems to be playing more of the Devon character in terms of the mission-briefer. But its also true that all Charles Graiman did was design the KITTs...I'm not sure how much he ever would have known about the operation of FLAG or whatever it is they're working as now.

Zoe IS cute it has to be said but unfortunately the character is a little grating (although it was toned down in ep2.)

I hope CG's character is going to be expanded in regard to Kitt's learning and Mike's past....

I hope the storyline goes down the route of Kitt being 'specifically tuned' to being partnered with Mike (like the original) but Torres is unaware how deep the programming goes. We know from comic con that its possible Kitt will turn rogue, maybe by learning wrong things/values but maybe Alex 'reprogrammes' or adds new 'thoughts' to Kitts AI.

At the moment, I'm of the 'Alex Torres is a bad guy' school of thought but that may change...

Yeah, exactly what purpose does Zoe serve, other than busting billy's------?

These characters need to have several character building episodes. I think Graiman's character needs to have time to develop the most. I would be interested to see him and Alex Torres start to butt heads, until it comes down to something serious. At which point Charles will be banned from the project. Tensions will be so high in the SSC that a mission is seriously compromised and Mike will be kidnapped. Sarah and Carey Ravai will go into the field after him. KITT ends up saving Mike, only to be severely damaged in the process. Graiman is the only one who can rebuild KITT but Torres refuses. Mike confronts Torres, because Mike feels he's lost a friend (KITT) and he finds out how Torres erased his past. Mike and Carey somehow have Torres thrown out of the SSC and KR project. The FBI realises that Knight Research needs to be controlled by FLAG with cooperation from the SSC. Not the other way around. Graiman heads FLAG and is the boss. Carey is his support arm. The rest of the team is stronger and have a closer bond for going through this.
