Why are they using cheap look crappy cameras for filming?

i absolutely hate this cheap looking camera they are using for filming.
its like some sort of HD cheap crappy, doesn't look like a proper camera like they use in shows like Heroes, Without a trace etc.

At least they use proper cameras for filming.

This series is giving off a very cheap looking,tacky vibe.

it looks like a daytime soap.
and with the terrible and fake looking scenes with the cgi backgrounds,
its absolutely terrible.

That car race betwene KITT and the Red sports car is beyond lame, judging from the awful and fake looking cgi.
the fact they couldn't bother to put the actors on the real road shows how cheap they are.

Sorry NBC, and Ben Silverman. You failed.
