I hear the SSC which might be a new organization under the FBI but wasn't this supposed to be FLAG reactivated under the creator of kitt?

Knight Industries is a Division from FLAG. FLAG still exists but for now they are using Knight Research & Development. Later on in the Season or soon maybe, GST stated they will explain what happened and rest assured FLAG is still there.Knight Racer wrote:I hear the SSC which might be a new organization under the FBI but wasn't this supposed to be FLAG reactivated under the creator of kitt?

I think it's the other way around isn't it? FLAG is a division under Knight Industries, no?
Michael: "KITT! Where are ya?!"
K.I.T.T.: "I'm in your parking space, Michael, where else would I be?"

FLAG was a division under the Knight Foundation. THe Knight Foundation funded and controlled the FLAG Project, check out Knight of the Juggernaut. The Knight Foundation was going to shut down FLAG under the direction of Jennifer Knight. Knight Industries was a company owned by the Knight Foundation.

Yeah, Knight Industries is what made Wilton his fortune and the Knight Foundation was his legacy that took his money to fulfill his dream when he died thus creating FLAG to do so. I look forward to seeing how it's explained. I think the Knight Foundation exists in spirit only now. If not they wouldn't need the feds to finance their missions, they'd have Wilton's fortune to do that. I kind of wonder if that fortune even still exists. Jennifer was the next of (surviving) kin so I imagine if it does she has a say in it's use. Technically Michael could claim it as legally he is a Knight and looks just like Wilton so he could pass as a son or through some trickery, Garthe. Might make a good plot and an excuse to bring David back and have KR split from the Feds later in the season.
KITT project is on again!
