Hi guys,
As promised, we now have a transcript of the conference call with
Gary Scott Thompson, Justin Bruening and Deanna Russo that took place a couple of days ago. Given it's rather lengthy nature, I'm afraid that you'll have to hit the link to view it.
My thanks go out to Neil for not only taking part in the call itself, but for also ensuring that the transcript got to me as quickly as possible, so that we could make it availble to all of you.
Matt
Welcome aboard the Knight 2000.
Thank you. What's all this, it looks like Darth Vader's bathroom?

Thanks! I actually laughed in the spots where Deanna started giving Justin and Gary a hard time and her naming her first car Elroy.
Looks like I guessed right on at least one of the things they were going to do with nanotech. Though what the person who brought it up was referring to a non-nanotech related version IIRC. But it is something that's been in research for many years now. I'm not so sure about this apparent selective amnesia angle they're going with, I'll guess it'll have to do with some sort of head injury that will lead to the "death" of Mike Traceur and the "birth" of Michael Knight (junior). I really really hope the writers don't bring in any of their personal politics or opinions into the show, especially to where it becomes blatant, especially with the war stuff.
Less than a week until some of us get to see the first episode!

The new and again improved evil's advertisement is currently too long and too badass to display here. But let's just say that with now 50% more evil, this **** is great!

Ahhh, good stuff, I love verbatim transcripts, thanks Neil and Matt, this KR addict is very happy.
Now why is this Jim Halterman fellow so sure William Daniels can’t be the voice of KITT? He must be forgetting that there is KI3T and then there is KI2T. Perhaps KI2T is holding out for more money, or he’s upset about how small his roll was in the pilot... someone needs to get on the phone with his agent.
But really how can we have a major storyline with MK1 and not have KI2T.
Though I must say I do hope whatever they do will also please the general public and not just us KR addicts. I can stand to let nostalgia suffer if it will bring in a new generation and keep the show on the air.

Excellent job Neil! This is great and I am really happy to see how much promotion is being put behind KR. I LOL'd at Deanna sayin "I say big words." I can imagine her tongue firmly in cheek when she said that.

That was great read, especially glad to hear they plan going with this a long time
Gary Scott Thompson: Oh yeah, we're - we've got some terrible teen going on right now in the Halloween episode.
Cool! Sounds like I'll have 2 Knight Rider episodes to watch in my birthdays in the future, one from the original series and one from this new series
