Can no one spell? His name is spelled Garth!

I know why you guys keep doing it. Joe Huth's book consistently misspelled Garth with an "e" on the end.
I have an original Goliath script..... I also have a spell checker on my computer. Garth was never spelled with an "e" on the end. His name is Garth Knight.

I mean you even screwed up the Wikipedia entry.... Sheesh..... Proofread these things.....

Umm...I don't know what script you are looking at, but the scripts I have for both "Goliath" and "Deja Vu" (aka "Goliath Returns") has the name spelled as Garthe, with an "E".

I've seen Garth/e spelled different ways throughout the series. Even the subtitle peeps donno what they're doing cause in Goliath the subtitles keep going back and forth in the spelling. So...in general I just try to avoid spelling his name at all.

It would appear so young Jedi, but nobody cares, we know who he is. I could spell it Gorth Night and people would know who is referenced irregardless of the 'oops'. This is petty and just someone needing to stink the joint up again, what's next...Michael/Micheal? lol

His name is spelled "Garthe", David Hasselhoff himself spells it that way and if you want to argue with him, you're welcome to it. Even Robert Foster who wrote the Goliath scripts says it's spelled witn an "e".

So that's the guy who created him and the guy who played him disagreeing with you.

p.s. - Why would a spell checker pick up Garth as being correct and Garthe as being incorrect when neither one of them mean anything in the english language?

Let's not forget the novelisation of "Goliath", "Mirror Image" by Roger Hill. That also spells Garthe's name with an "e". There is a scene in the book (taken from early drafts of the script) where Rita tells Michael that Garthe is very specific about the spelling "With an 'e'".

The only instance in Knight Rider where "Garthe" is spelt "Garth" is the script of Knight of the Juggernaut, which was co-written by Burton Armus. That is in dialogue between Michael and Jennifer Knight.
