Firebird Toy Car

Yesterday at 2 O Clock in the german morning Time i have bought this on Ebay, its a real Beauty. Does anybody know more about this?

Looks very similar to mine which is from the 1980's. Is your Pontiac's manufacturer Star Toys? I don't have the box anymore but the remote controller has the text: "Star Toys". Very cool find, I haven't found yet one single toycar like mine from net but yours may be the same or similar one.
Mine stopped working some time in the 80's but recently I opened up the remote controller and noticed one loose wire, putted it back and it worked again after 20 years The front lights are lit only when they are in popup position and the motor is running.
