How KITT should have sounded in the movie

Post by JJSoCrazy » Thu Jul 10, 2008 4:31 pm

I must admit I was quite disappointed when I heard Val Kilmer as KITT's voice. I feel it was rushed and just some voiceover just to have it recorded for the show. They should have had Val give more emphasis and actually create a unique charachter in KITT much like William Daniels did. If they want to succeed in the show they should work on this!

I was sure it would sound something like this:

I like Val Kilmer's voice for KITT. They did have to work fast because the Wil Arnet (was it) had a contract with GM and thus wasn't allowed to do KITT after all. So they have to find someone fast. I am sure that KITT will develop quite a lot in the series.

And, the original Knight Rider pilot, KITT was quite a bit different than he was in other episodes as time went on.

Give Val Kilmer a chance. He done well for having to do things quickly. I think he'll do great during the season.
