Don't take this the wrong way, but now that the DVD's are out, who cares? I guess it's good that KNIGHT RIDER is back out on TV to keep it fresh in the non-fans minds.

All of mine freeze like that too! And I don’t think it’s a layer break issue. I figured it was just my old DVD player. But that is interesting to hear other people are having problems. I had returned some initially but the replacements weren’t much better.MikeLutton wrote:i know i feel same way but im having issues with season3 it freezes in middle of episodes it not fair i was watching one knight rider custum kitt it frooze right in middle on my dvd player ah but be good see it on tv again for the people that dont got the dvds nbc universl plays them uncut
I wonder if they will also put them on Hulu like TKR?

MikeLutton and Sue,
The freezing issues you guys are experiencing is a common problem with Universal's DVDs. You can thank them for preferring cheap double-sided discs that are made in México. Many of their series have these problems because they chose to do this. My advice would be to buy another set and swap out the good discs with bad discs because you never know what will work and what won't.

I recommend ordering one then request a replacement, swap between the two for the best disks and then send the one with the bad disks back. That’s what I did. Amazon has always been good about fixing problems.

There are a select few stores that still sell Knight Rider DVDs (f.y.e. being one of them). They also sell the corrected version of the Season 3 set with the sound effects intact.Sue wrote:They still are available, just not in stores I notice.

Re: Knight Rider Returns To Syndication This Fall
I'll probably tune into the reruns. Ive never seen the original series...I did buy season 1 while in Toronto with a friend to check out the original series...and to also know a bit more background stuff on the series.
I see a lot of stores with the Knight Rider Seasons out here in Canada. They dont have all of them..typically one or two seasons..
