Cool Idea of Old KITT in show

I had a crazy dream last night about the first episode that will air in the fall. It showed Mike Traceur having a tour of the old foundation, the mansion, etc. Then there is a secret room where the legend of "one man car make a difference" and the tool used is stored. So they go there and pass by KITT and all of a sudden you hear his scanner whoosh sound, when I heard that I was so happy and delighted to hear that sound. Then an older version of April appeared and was explaining about KITT (don't know why not Bonnie, but oh well). KITT started to speak but it was somewhat unclear because of his outdated software. He stated that he knows who he is and tried to speak and Tracuer started speaking back.

I just like that approach and hopefully Graiman does something like that and hopefully they do something to return the old KITT in a cool way like that. If William Daniels does come back as they said in interviews they are trying, that would be awesome and don't forget the scanner sound!

Joe I think you’re thinking of Deanna Russo part 2 where she let it slip that Arnett was out. I don’t know that this proves anything though because Neil was leading the witness, so to speak.

RUSSO: Dude, I know. But what about William Daniels? I don't know why that hasn't even been considered.

KRO: Well we've heard rumors about the other KITT might coming back down the line.

RUSSO: That would be awesome. (laughs) There is nice little nuggets for the ultimate fans in there. Just nice little tips of the hat.

It was one of the producers or directors or whoever in charge was interviewed. I remember reading it, and stating that they want to make the assumption that the old KITT's cpu is in the new KITT's motherboard or something like that. Then they stated they are trying to have William Daniels back to return for the show.
