D.I.T.T. Dodge Challenger 2008
I saw some pics of the new Dodge Challenger 2008 and wondered what it would look like as K.I.T.T. after some photoshop. Car Candy!

You used my scanner light graphic art lol.
Although it's a nice looking car, it looks more like a stealth black Cylon because you have the scanner going all the way across the front rather then KITT. I'd at least put a spoiler on there and I'm not crazy about the all black rims. (I know the Mustang has them but still.)

Re: D.I.T.T. Dodge Challenger 2008
These retro-style muscle cars as KITT renditions remindes me of the Street Hawk episode "Second Self" where a hot shot driver (the actor is George Clooney btw) has been hired to kill Jesse Mach driving all black souped up 60's Dodge Charger (the same model General Lee is). The wild car chases, reverse 180's, etc. remindes a lot of Knight Rider, all that car needed is red scanner LOL
At that time though the 60's design was considered obsolete and KITT as a '82 Trans-Am was truely futuristic looking, it still looks the best IMO.

Re: D.I.T.T. Dodge Challenger 2008
I got the scanner image from the front page of KRonline, thanks for that. I went a bit overboard with the scanner as I wanted to block the round headlights. K.I.T.T. has the pop up headlights and it looks more stealth, also has the black hubcaps so I thought I would blackout these ones. I haven`t even seen the new KR movie as I am in China at the moment, I have only seen cuts on Youtube and read reviews though overall people seemed to like it.
I am not saying it should be the new KITT, I am a Dodge man at heart and they say Mopar or no car but I would own a K.I.T.T. Transam any day, or a General Lee, Delorean, A-Team van, Coyote, Ecto-1. You get the picture I am an 80s fan to the bone. The General Leeis a 69 Dodge Charger for reference Kittfan. Anyways this is KRonline so I should off TDOHazzard subject. DUST

It never hurts to toy around with different concepts; sometimes great ideas develop by accident like that. It's interesting, but I can't say I think it works for K.I.T.T. It would be really ironic if K.I.T.T. ended up becoming the very same car that he aggressively competed against in the '80s, the General Lee.
