Did KITT ever auto mode in SPM?

KITT never drove by himself while in SPM...the closest would be in "The Scent of Roses" where Michael gets out of KITT while in SPM mode and KITT automatically reverts back to normal mode.

Now that we are discussing auto spm,I'd like to say how it doesn't make any sense that kitt a supercomputer on wheels wasn't the only one to be able to use it with dangerous curves and road conditions or in a populated city such as Chicago that you can even use that system at all with a human driver.The curves and turns would be more controlable and anticipated hundreds of feet away as not to run into anything over a human driver.I'd go with a supercomputer driving at that speed.

I always assumed that while in Pursuit Mode KITT assisted in the controlling and handling of the car.

I surely remember that there was a small scene in which Kitt drowe himself for a few metres while in SPM. Perhaps in "Burial Ground", I don't remember. It's like the white Turbo Boost button, I know it exists, I don't remember in which episode

Could be that so-called "collision avoidance system" introduced in the Pilot, where Devon explains that Michael can't hit anything. However, as long as Michael is driving K.I.T.T. manually, I do believe he can potentially hit something (i.g. the rocks in "Out Of the Woods" that gave K.I.T.T. a New York accent).
