According to Variety and The Hollywood Reporter, Gary Scott Thompson (producer of Las Vegas who also wrote The Fast and the Furious) will be taking over Knight Rider as showrunner when it goes to series.
While I'm not too familiar with Las Vegas, I do know he had a lot of good guest stars there... and Fast and the Furious, for better or for worse, had some really awesome car stuff. I'm excited to see it.

My apologies; I didn't see that post when I created the topic.
I think this could be pretty cool... one thing I will say for the Fast and the Furious is it *looked* really cool.... I'm sure some of that had to come from the creative side.
Now I'm curious if we'll hear anything about cast changes...
