I was told these were only sold in England. Like an idiot, I passed one up on ebay and have been looking for one ever since.

I remembered seeing something about a KITT Transformer on one of the Transformers sites... At first, I was thinking perhaps it was Gunrunner (http://tfu.info/1990/Cybertron/Gunrunner/gunrunner.htm), but that's not KITT. Then I thought it could be Black Windcharger (http://tfu.info/2003/Cybertron/BlackWin ... harger.htm) which is closer, but still no...
Then I went to google and found the Pow-R-Tron: http://www.viper.jp/knight/items/items_cars13.html. Ummm, yeah. Well, it says Knight Rider, and it's made by Ertl...
I know this doesn't help you find one, but there's the picture of it.

That may help more than you think. I now know it's made in Japan (why do they have the coolest toys?) and have a picture to show people. I'm going to contact some of the Japanese toy stores on the web and see if they have it. I can also go to the local flea market. They carry a load of Japanese toys. I wonder how old it is? I wonder if I can write to Ertl?
