Does anyone known the original Song of the Knight Rider theme? On wich Song is the Theme based?

Maybe I misunderstood you, but there's no song on which the original theme song is based. It was created by Glen A. Larson on someone else I don't remember at the moment especially for the Show!

The beginning is very similar to the theme.

Also Stu Philips co wrote the original theme with Glen.

as far as i could hear, they used less than half of the main theme, the rest was a new tune added on.

the whole new theme was shorter than the original series version as well.

would have been better if they redid the whole theme and not just half !

still, the movie was better than i expected !

felt like a proper knight rider continuation!
