I love kr but I can not get over the fact that they are gonna actualy use a FRIGGIN FORD..
Use a vett or the new camaro. why do all these new shows that come out realating to everything cool have to change a major player in the show? Come on!!!!!!! Try to keep it original. I gotta say its gonna be hard to watch.
Why do they change things? Stop it. Stop. Bad tv people. BAD!

Well I guess the whole Ford vs GM thing is like Windows vs. Linux (or any other OS war topic), but as a non car enthusiast, I don't have a dog in that fight. I do want the car to be made in the usa, I want a backseat, and I do want it to be spycar-like/kitt-like/sleek, whatever you want to call it. The Made in USA factor would rule out the Camaro (made in canada, gee, THANKS General Motors), but it would allow the Corvette (made in usa). It would also allow for the Mitsubishi Eclipse, which is made in the usa. I wish they would make a Corvette with a backseat, that would be a perfect KITT car. But given that the Mustang is american made, and has a backseat, and also satisfies the car enthusiasts by having a V8 engine and RWD, it was ultimately the best choice in the current age. Just wish they had been allowed to mod the front of the car to make it more aerodynamic looking, and allow for the placing of the scanner on the nose.

*SIGH* The least you could do before making another topic about this is read the post that are on the first page of either this or the TV Movie's board regarding it and why they weren't options and that how GM wasn't interested..
