I don't believe so, I thought it was for the Camaro Concept though? I might be wrong.knightprobe89 wrote:isn't a vote for the camaro a wasted vote? i thought transformers had exclusive rights to the camaro and it cant be used as a kitt for knight rider.

I would definitely go with the Honda/Acura concept.
KITT was supposed to be futuristic and very dreamy high tech in '82.
Using a Japanese concept car would link up great to the robotics research (ASIMO, KAT500) done by Japan. Perhaps a script where Japanese robotics researchers stumble upon the old Stanford AI research done for Knight Industries. Find the old chips of KITT, the CPU is transplanted into a futuristic concept. KITT has to get used to his fellow modern cars with all the new stuff, navigation systems, cellular networks, parking sensors, etc. Perhaps even ridiculing them that he had to make do with far less.
With an interior in this style. But far more high tech, 3d displays, light shapes, just the highest tech that the world's best car interior designers can dream up in 2007. What would they deisgn if they had full reign?
In 2007 I have to want that car, I have to dream of sitting in it. Just like in '82.

yes kitt is supposed to be futuristic, but he also has to blend in, the trans am if you remember was a production car that can be seen on the streets, what you guys are suggesting are automoblies that are too exotic or aren't even made yet.
that's why kitt if it had to be a production vehicle should be a corvette.
it's sleek and muscular.
if you check out my other thread and i hope you all agree..the most important thing is the location of the scanner, on the camaro photoshop, the scanner was located in the top hood area just like where the current mustang kitt is..not a big fan of that... i do however like the photoshop of the camaro to make it look like a trans am, that's really cool, but like someone else mentioned. the car of tommorrow shouldn't look like yesterday.

Re: KITT car poll
No one voted for the Koenigsegg CCX?
Shame, shame, KRO!
It's sleek, modern, powerful, strong, and every one is unique. Isn't that exactly what KITT should be?
Plus...this poster is REALLY sexy: http://sloaninnovations.com/WordPress/w ... _small.jpg

Aaww, come on. The Koenigsegg CCX could never be KITT.
KITT was one of a kind and futuristic, but still he was looking like a car everyone could afford, like a normal car. And no supersports car. There are so many other reasons.
And my personal note, I think the Koenigsegg is ugly.

Re: KITT car poll
Even though KITT was supposedly of a "everyday" model, you have to admit he was still supersport.
I suppose a lot of it is indeed personal preference, I love the CCX. (But then again I'm a sucker for speed and arcing curves. XD)

Re: KITT car poll
The Honda/Acura concept looks ok but imho it would look a little too out of the place on the road, The Pontiac was ahead of it's time but still looked liked it belonged
having said that, how cool is that stearing wheel, a Knight foundation logo put in the middle and you're away

I was thinking about this and saw the Lamborghini Reventon:
KNIGHT RIDER RELOADED is a series of movies on Youtube to represent a different creative avenue to the Knight Rider we knew in 2008-09.
