Hi guys,
It's been a long time now since they announced a remake of the Knight Rider series, so I just wanted to hear if you guys have any updates on the movie cause I feel that we're starting to loose track.
I have some news from last year to share with you but I don't really know of it's reliable, just a sidenote to kick-off this discussion...

Please note: I found something quite interesting in the second link:
"Larson will write and exec produce the feature, which he anticipates will begin production next year."
Which means that the production will begin this year (2007) since the article was from 2006! Maybe it has begun already; although, the word "anticipate" doesn't give us much to rely on, does it?
Any ideas?
The Knight Rider movie still in production?

Michael: Kitt what matters to me is who you are not what you look like. Sure we don't have the car so we can't turbo boost so we can't go over 200 miles an hour but it was all icing on the cake anyway

There are many phases of a movie project. Knight Rider is still in the very ambiguous "Development" phase. Until the studio announces a tentative release date and starts signing up a cast, it could be in development for a week, a year, or 10 years. I'd say this article is just another fluff piece from last year without any real solid news to it.

I see...
I guess that we have no choice but to keep our fingers crossed for some filmindustry to initiate the production of the new Knight Rider movie.
But for how long can we all wait? To announce something that they know will not happen within the next 10 years is just playing an unfair game with people...
