KITT in 3D
Noob saiz "Hi everyone!"
A starving 3D animator in South Africa, I am as yet, unable to get my hands on a real firebird and convert it to kitt....
So I did what every 3D artist would, I made my own!!!!
Here's 2 renderings of my Maya-Kitt. If you like them, give me a shout, offer suggestions, anything.

oh my gawd thunderchild...in all sorts of seriousness that kitt you created really needs to be in a game like GTA San Andreas for PC.
i wanna refer you to http://www.ascendence.net that site belongs to a good friend of mine by the name of kel,and just about everybody that is registered there has been modding GTA San Andreas since the day it came out in the summer of 2005.
they mostly specialize in porting 3d models into that game for everybodies enjoyment, but i must warn you though it will be a pretty long process to get that beauty in game unless somebody that is really great at converting cars gets your model.
if your interested at all in this....contact me via email reddawg_02@msn.com or visit http://www.ascendence.net for more info on possibly getting that beautiful kitt in to the streets of san andreas.
sincerly

Thanx!
Awwwww shucks you guys!!!
Thanx for the feedback! I've already gotten a few tips on how to improve on the model from wanabegeorge, and as soon as I've made my modifications, I'll let you know.
PS- Thanx for correcting the link ReddawgKnight, that one slipped through...

er.... ummm....
Hehehe...
Actually I spent 4 days on Airwolf and 3 on Kitt....
Not happy with Wolfie's doors, and haven't gotten around to cockpit yet... but the landing gear, guns and misslepod work...
Kitt still needs refinement, lighting and the blue No. Plate. o yea, also tire treads, overhead console, ....... etc. etc. etc.
lots left to do. Watch this space.

That's my plan
I really want to be doing this for a living! The reason I have not gotten back to refining Kitt yet is cuz I'm finalizing another model for my showreel. I need to get my bum into the 3D business and I'm trying to do a good job of my demo. An animation featuring Kitt will of course also be in the showreel, so as soon as I've got it hosted, I'll let you know!

Sorry about the wait guys!
Hi all! sorry about the lack of updates. Other projects are getting in the way.
I did a quick environment setup just to show off the current model along with some tire tread.
What U think?

Thanx to...
Thanx for the support you guys!!! I already got a few ideas for this Kitt...
I must thank Alias Maya for the reflections... Mental Ray rendering did everything, all I did was play with a few settings...
Also, The shape of Kitt, comes from wannabegeorge's front, back, and side drawings. I used them while building the model, so a lot of thanx goes to him.
Later this week will see another update on MayaKITT, so stay tuned!!

The awaited update!
Hi All!! the interest and complements you guys give is a real inspiration! without it I probably wouldn't have spent more and more time on it. Thanx!
As promised, here are some new renderings. I tried improving on the textures, and added some new features.
My next update may take a week or two, another project is nearing completion, and my time is used there, but luckily I'm going to combine that 3D model with Kitt and we will have a laugh or two. (that's a teaser for my next post here on KROnline!!)
PS- I think I'm having a Homer Simpson moment... I can't seem to get pics linked to view directly in this post so you wouldn't need to browse to the site... Do'oh!
So the website is the same as always...
no, wait, BBCode... Do'oh!
