All old rumors, speculation, and just plain lies.
If we learned one thing this past year, it's that for better or worse the media loves publishing news related to David Hasselhoff. If there is any news about the casting of the movie, it is not going to be hard to find. It will be in newspapers and magazines and gossip shows.
A good rule of thumb: if it sounds like it's special insider information, it's probably wrong.

KARR as the new Camaro? Woa... LOL! I don't think I could deal with KARR being anything but KITT's prototype.
Now if they did a new Smokey and the Bandit movie, and Pontiac made a Trans Am that is based on the new Camaro, and they used that for Trigger, I think I would be at first skeptical but quite happy. IMHO, that new look is more SATB and not KR.
KR is a bit futuristic. Only the 3rd Gen T/As would do. Maybe some of the 4ths might work as well.
