Im not a Dallas fan but a huge Miami Heat fan however I found this unique story about the Dallas Mavericks Dirk Nowitzki. He apparentely hums the Freedom song everytime he goes to the foul line. Also the article answers some questions about where KITT actually is.

Funnt Update on the heckling of Heat fans on Dirk Nowitzki.
Some Heat fans were given large pictures of David Hasselhoff outside the arena, only to have them taken away -- then replaced with similar photos of the former Baywatch star.
The background: Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki confided to the media this week that as he shoots foul shots, he hums a song by Hasselhoff, who is popular in Nowitzki's home country of Germany.
So radio station 790 AM-The Ticket seized on Nowitzki's comment, and printed up 5,000 picture-on-a-sticks. The station's Reid Adler stood at the parking lot at Bayside, across the street from the arena, and passed them out.
But the station has no arrangement with the Heat -- 610 WIOD carries the games -- so the Heat ordered its security guards to confiscate all of the station's photos.
The reason: the Heat had planned a similar gag, and expanded it by imploring Heat fans to recite Hasselhoff's name whenever Nowitzki went to the foul line. With the arena chanting and fans behind the basket waving photos, he made his first two free throws and missed his third. Nowitzki finished 11 of 13 from the free-throw line.
Heat Vice President Michael McCullough said he contacted the station Thursday afternoon and asked them not to distribute its photos.
