KITT on TKR

Hey I was looking at the spin off season and it said that KITT appeared on TKR, I don't recall that.. Can someone confirm this or how me a clip..

KITT didn't appear as you'd expect him. He wasn't in the Knight 2000 anymore and was encased in a small sphere with K.I.T.T. on the front. He was actually hidden within the TKR flying spaceship-base thing.

AFAIR it was only a brief appearance towards the end of an episode.

This is the best and only photo of K.I.T.T. in the sphere that I can find.

As you can see, the sphere doest have a small red scanner.

Listening to Shadow's voice, he sounds closer to what KARR would sound like, than what KITT would. In fact, if they bring KARR back in the movie, they could probably use this guy's voice (who did Shadow in TKR) for KARR's voice. Add a little reverb and "hollow" sound, and yup, you got a very sinister KARR.

Oh I remember that, I remember being so let down expecting to actually see KITT in a form or another.. But seeing that I was like is that it.. But then when they brought up Michel's name on the last episode (although I didn't know it) I was like alright, they're coming back really looking forward to season 2..

why would they put him in a sphere its stupid he could have been that TV he was and they should 'preserve' KITT's body it should last forever with the MBS

Perhaps this was the foundation's way of making sure that if the new team they put together ever needed help from a silent partner is Michael Knight or Kitt,they wouldn't be far behind.

maybe it was similar to soul survivor (like the TV reference that James_KR made) but KITTs processor was intentionally changed so that he could help out if really required but at the same time remain inconspicuous

i reckon KITT was installed on the plane by someone close to Devon Miles who knew his dying wish was to continue Wilton's Legacy, the last of his creations being the Knight 2000 before he died

i don't think Devon trusted his successor (can't remember his name, its been bout 8 years since i saw the KRO episode) the man who was "hand picked to replace Devon Miles" which is why no one else in FLAG knew about it

my guess is that MK wouldnt have wanted to stay with FLAG after Devon died but he also felt an obligation to Wiltons wishes. I think MK worked at FLAG under another name (like he said at the end of the series, he wasnt MK anymore)

a second series might have revealed all this.... :shock:

oh and as for KITTs body lasting forever, KARR wasnt buried in sand long before his scanner changed colour (and he had the original MBS)

Remember that the Scanner is their most vulnerable point. They couldn't cover the scanners with MBS because then they wouldn't be able to see.

I wish that I could have seen TKR. Heck, I hope they put it on DVD some day. There should be some way that fans could (legally) see it these days. I hope it's not lost forever.

Because they left it on the edge, it also makes for good "continuation" fanfic.

why did mobius want shadow (KITT) anyway??

no mention is made of KRO actually having the MBS but is beleived to be indistructible, was this the secret that KITT kept???
