Changes in Knight Rider

Post by firebird1029 » Fri May 19, 2006 12:36 pm

If you could have changed anything about KR what would it be? Here's mine:

RC wouldn't have been "the token black guy". He would have had more of a use

I know it usually ends a show if Characters get together, so i wouldn't say have Michael and Bonnie get to together. But maybe just hint at feelings beyond friendship, and then if they'd had a season finale they could have gotten together.

I would have also made them have more group assignments like on Knight Sting (I think that's the ep where everyone went undercover)

I felt that with each season, the characters became almost too friendly with eachother. I suppose that is only natural, but I missed a lot of the fighting/banter from the earliest episodes. Michael fought with KITT, with Devon, with Bonnie... and it was great. You knew that they all had a deep affection for one another, but it was fun watching them fight on the surface. If I could change one thing about Knight Rider, it would be to bring back more of that.

I would've had RC be partners with Michael and KITT much more often, and another season of "Knight Rider", so that the partnership of Michael, RC and KITT could continue.
Also, there could've been more neat gadgets that the show hadn't explored yet, and the show could've had those functions shown on air, too.
I agree with the banter part, though.....
