It is interesting that in Knight Behind Bars, Kitt activates his Polyphonic Synthesiser (with a green switch on the pod) and with that, he begins playing a tape. In the next episode, Knight Song, he generates the music all by himself, without using his tape player. Why did he use the tape player when he could "compose" music all by himself? Who knows, this is just another secret of Kitt...

Another funny continuity error in "Knight Song" is when K.I.T.T. uses his synthesizer. A close-up is shown of the monitor showing the equalizer, and the very next shot shows a wide angle of the entire dash where the monitor is off.
