Amazingly enough, I never managed to see this episode when I watched the series as a kid, I first saw it when I got the season 4 DVD collection. KITT's altered voice was really interesting...I'm not even sure if William Daniels was doing it. All the searching I've done hasn't shown anyone but him doing KITT's voice, even in this episode...but for some reason, I can swear the altered voice sounds like Rene Auberjonois (the guy who played Odo in Deep Space 9).

U think I heard somewhere it is still the voice of William Daniels, but it does sound realy diffrent.
Always made me wonder how come Michael diden't comment on he voice being diffrent in the episode, it would have been a nice touch if he had have mentioned it.

Yes, it's Daniels just modified. Great manipulation though.
