Cool! Love the Knight 2000 Owner's Manual.

I noticed, when Michael is reading the book, if you look to just the left of "Knight 2000" you can see lettering on the side of "Knight". Would that be the word "The" rotated vertially, perhaps? :)

I actually noticed that too, FuzzieDice. I put the word "THE" on the cover but it just didn't look right, so I took it off.

Hey Joe, it looks like you really put some time into this book. I already have the KR Legacy and I love it. I would love a copy of the manuel, please contact me, and let know know how to obtain one. 8)

Ah, ok. Makes sense when you think about the aesthetic look of the cover.

It mentions on the site that it's for replica owners. But can anyone (even those without replicas) get one too, just as a collector's item? And how much would a copy cost? If you want, you can PM me the details, even.

This sounds like a cool book. I would love to see what you have about the microprocessor itself. :)

And, will there be one for KARR as well? (ok, I know I'm dropping hints here, but all you may have to do is remove a couple items that KARR probably wouldn't have since he wasn't maintained and upgraded like KITT was through the years, and change the cover to "Knight Automated Roving Robot". Might want to mention that the AI in it is to "be used with caution, not recommended for those with a weak mind" or something like that. LOL! :) )

If anyone is interested in this book, I will sell them at cost to me which is $15.99. I'll even do free shipping anywhere in the U.S.

I am finishing up the third season book now, and then I'll do a K.A.R.R. version :)

Email me at webmaster@knightrideruniverse.com if you'd like a copy.

Thanks,
Joe

Very nice site! I liked the pics of the KITT Manuel. I also like the then and now section. if you need some update, here's what I know about where Knight Racer was filmed. The Riverside International Raceway was demolished in 1988 to make way for apartments and other real estete projects. It was a stapme track of Nascar's Nextel (The it was call Grand National and later Winstion) Cup series when the came out west. The last race was a Nascar Winston Cup Race in 1988. It was the premire road course event before Sears Point (Infineon) and Watkins Glen took over.

I always wanted the KR legacy book, is it cheaper to buy from you vs amazon or something? I'm always looking for a good deal. Thanks! :D

and another question, why is it unoffical book if you got all those really cool interviews from the cast and glenn, shouldn't that make it an offical book? I know stupid question.

Hi Mikemac,

The book is "unofficial" because it wasnt endorsed by Universal Studios. Your best bet is to buy the book on Amazon or Barnes and Noble - I dont have any copies for sale.

Thanks,
Joe
