Knight Industries medical technology

I was always wondering what kind of superb medical technology Knight Industries have. They could reconstruct Michael Long's face so that no scar, not even a pockmard was left and without shaving his hair! And for the rest, Michael recovered in some two weeks! What kind of medical technology did old Wilton Knight invented? I'm bedinning to think that Knight Industries is something like the DHARMA Initiative of Lost...

WOW! That sounds like something right out of the Star Trek universe. I know that KITT can become a mobile oxygen chamber if Micheal need oxygen.

And KITT was instructing the EMTs in the ambulance on what to do after Michael was shot in Scent of Roses. So KITT has some medical knowledge too, apparently.
