Knights of the Fast Lane question

Post by HungarianKnight » Sat Mar 11, 2006 6:21 am

In the Season 3 episode Knights of the Fast Lane Michael seemingly loses Kitt in a drag race. Devon and Bonnie are furious and Bonnie tries to locate Kitt (and with him, the base of the bad guys) with a laptop like gadget. Was that thingy a real laptop/portable computer (perhaps an original laptop from the golden age of computer technology) or was it just a prop with blinking lights like a tricorder in Star Trek? If you have any answers or ideas, feel free to post...

The earliest laptop I can find any info on was back in 1983

So 1984 it would be possable but very costly and probaly not capable to do what Bonnie was doing.

I also remember Michael had something similar when they where trying to find Kitt in "Kittnap"

Thank you. I'm still wondering what brand was it (of course when it was not just a mere prop...)
