Was watching this episode tonight and I noticed that KITT has a damaged rear left quater in certain shots when Michael is doing his driving piece in the Armour Vehicles back yard,
I have some shots to show, its hard to see so I have brightend up the pictures to show it a bit better:
As you can see the car is a bit damaged in the rear wheel section.
Ahhh how many errors do appear when seen with DVD clarity

To quote Kitt's famous saying: "Michael, this is so embarrasing...!"

That reminds me of an S2 ep (speed demons?) its the one with the dirt-bike thing and HTDD.
Anyhoo, when KITT/MK go up the Black Widow mountain (or whatever it was), you can clearly see dents in the front bumper (left side methinks) as he goes up and at the top of the mountain thing

Really? I didn't spot that, or i may have but forgotten.
In Junk Yard Dog you can see the imperfections with the white/grey paintwork when KITT is out on the test track for the first time after being rebuilt.

There are a few scenes in various episodes where you can see KITT damaged. One that comes to mind is in Blind Spot. There's a scene in the junk yard where you can clearly see a decent sized dent on KITT's right side.
Flyer Guy: "You really a talking car?"
KITT: "No. I'm a tight end for the Chicago Bears!"

Wow, that's amazing!

Poor KITT though. So much for the MBS, like it was said.
And in season one, I think someone else on the board noticed this, there is a large burned-like gash in the driver's seat side in some scenes.
Guess they had to grab whatever car they could for each scene. If I remember right, Pontiac gave them a few T/As that were in an accident in a train wreck. Some where lightly to little damage. It might be that may have been one of the cars. But I don't know why they took time to put a new nose on it but not knock out the dent. Maybe the car got dented in one of the stunts.
