Hi does anyone know what was actualy used to produce Kitts Scanner sound?
was it the one used in Battle starr galactica robots?

the scanner sound was dubbed into the movie

Yes, KITT's scanner and the sound were spinoffs from Battlestar Galactica. Glan Larson even mentioned this in an inteview on the Season 1 DVD set.

Yeah, It was the Cylon "Warbble", Drawn out, Slowed down and Reversed.
