This was taken from an eBAY auction for a gullwing steering wheel

"Hi, this is Dan Louisell of Louisell Enterprises. We've stopped taking orders for the time being due to a new contract deal."

What contract deal???

Also another auction for a turnkey vehicle stated that Louisell Ent.was the only company LICENSED by Universal Studios to build the KITT replicas

Why would Universal License anyone to build cars unless they were contracting him to build some replicas for an upcoming project

He never came out and said he IS making KITT for the movie
but these two statements really make you wonder .......
Theres no reason for increased volume, I'm scanning your interogitives quite satisfactorilly.

I don't have any knowledge of the new contract, but the licensing agreement goes back several years and would be completely independent of any outside projects. That's simply the way studios work: a vendor (Rob) paid a fee to a studio (Universal) for the right to use their name in his advertising.
