All I do is leave for one day to steal some missiles from Red Bluff....
And all hell breaks loose.

This person makes some valid points.
I fear the F-150 transformation is jumping the shark.
GST mentions that nanotechnology will make it possible to shift shapes of similar mass -- which is theoretically true.

Too bad the F-150 depicted is a Super Crew 4-door -- base curb weight is around 5,502 lbs......

There is no way the mass of a body on frame pickup can fit into a unit body Shelby Mustang -- they weigh between 3,500 to 3,900 lbs (depending on options /configuration) -- We are talking about a weight difference of a ton -- 2,000 lbs....

I'm afraid they are jumping the shark, too.
Just food for thought.
There ain't no E in Garth, damn it.

I would presume that even though KI3T can change into an F-150, that doesn't necessarily mean he would equal the same weight. That could make for an interesting scene if KI3T get caught by a forklift like KITT did.

I'm willing to cut them some slack with that one. A real pick-up is made with steel and needs all sorts of structural support. The fictional nano-particles could create the shape and strength of a pickup which much thinner bars and plates. In other words, a Ford pickup might have a 2-inch diameter support beam someplace while the Knight 3000 could duplicate that strength with a 1/2" beam.

That's a very good point, not to mention that if you take the end stunt from the pilot as something other than a badly thought out. It'd show that KITT apparently is able to increase his mass....

Okay, so it's more likely just a badly thought out stunt/effect.
The new and again improved evil's advertisement is currently too long and too badass to display here. But let's just say that with now 50% more evil, this **** is great! :skar:
