New Camaro has built in slot for scanner???

Hey hope this isn't a repost, but a lot pics i've seen of the new camaro have have what looks like a place for the scanner

Yeah it's there, I just saw it at the car show two weeks ago. I even commented to my mom that the Camaro has a ready-made slot for it if they had used it.

(Not trying to start a "they should have used" war, just what I observed.)

yeah i noticed that too, maybe gm put the slot there just in case someone wants to make the camaro into kitt. :lol:

That slot has been on there since the concept came out 2 years ago. It's there to bring in cooler outside air, similar to a Ram Air set up that was found on 4th gen WS6's.
The real KITT was born a Trans Am.
