Since Knight Rider went off the air, there have been a number of legal ways to have Knight Rider in your home. The most recent being Universal releasing the first two seasons on DVD. Prior to that people in the US were able to order tapes and DVDs containing 1 to 2 episodes at a time from Columbia House Home Video.

This movie bears no connection to either the original series or Knight Rider 2000. No one has any idea why they deceivingly named it Knight Rider 2010. The only remote resemblance to the real Knight Rider is that the movie features some kind of homemade car with a woman's mind/soul implanted in it.
