Super Pursuit Mode was the most striking enhancement made to KITT during the fourth season. SPM alters KITT's configuration and enables him to achieve a 40% speed increase. The accompanying Emergency Breaking System is used for increased deceleration rate needed to come to a quick stop after engaging SPM.
