A question about KITT RC Car

I brought myself 2 Hitari Model KITT remote control cars (1 to leave in box and the other to use) and I cannot seem to get the turbo boost working. It says specifically on the box that it has turbo boost built in and it cna be activated on the control. But for the life of me I cannot get it to work or even see a button on there to activiate it. If anyone ahs the same model as do, your help would be appreciated, thank you
