I don't think "Access Hollywood" was on TV at the time when the "Knight Rider 2000" TV movie aired, so that's a kind of a typographical error in the article about the background story about the TV movie.
"Access Hollywood" first aired in 1996, and the TV movie first aired 5 years before.
Hopefully that willl clear things up for you.....

You're right, I've just checked my DVDs, and will alter the references on my article.
