Hi

Did anyone notice that the end credits of the pilot featured an incorrect copyright year MCMLXXVII-1977 instead of MCMLXXXII-1982, how odd is that.

Never noticed that.

But I do remember seeing the pilot years ago on vhs video and the year on that said 1977.

Anyone else remember that?

I think it is dated for 1977 because Glen A. Larson came up with the concept of Knight Rider in that year (although in that version, Kitt was named TATT and had a female voice)...

Speaking of the first idea, does anyone know where I can find those first few scripted ideas for the show?

I have a copy of the very first draft of the Pilot, and it was dated in March of 1982, so I don't know where 1977 comes from (KITT was named TATT in the script, but was a male).

I'm pretty sure Paul at the Knight Rider Archive will have it on his site eventually.
