Knight Rider/ Quantum Leap Crossover FanFic

Has anyone ever written a story that was a crossover of both Knight Rider and Quantum Leap?

I am a huge fan of both shows and have seen every episode to both. Anyway, I was thinking about something where Dr. Sam Beckett leaped into Michael Knight. K.I.T.T. can sense the vital signs are not of Michael and the energy waves of Al Calavicci. There would be some kind of plot where Sam had to fix something that Michael failed to do. I can't exactly think of what, but wonder if it would be to save the life of someone who was killed or even Michael himself from being killed in action. The year would have to be like 1987 just so it would be an adventure not on the show as those have already happened and always ended perfectly.

Lucidscreamer has a KR / QL crossover at ff.net like that.

I clicked on that link and actually read through the FanFic crossover. However, it is incomplete and does not go to the ending. Does the author ever intend to finish it cause I want to know how the story is resolved and find out what is going to happen before Sam leaps out of Michael?
