Just for theory and all that good stuff, what do you think the plot line of the Knight Rider movie would be?

Personally I'd like to see the KARR storyline finished.

Rough Plot: 25 (approx) years after the clash between KARR and KITT, a wandering metal detector finds KARR's main drive beneath the desert sands. Being a part time college student at a tech univeristy, he takes the drive back home and beings to repair it, using modern technology to extract and repair the lost data. Eventually KARR is revived, with more power than ever before and..(Duh duh duh!....) access to the internet.

than along comes garth kill the nerd and takes KARRs CPU put it in mordern gloiath or maybe another car mod to the max with all the orignal abilitys and more

Whatever it is, this time, DON'T kill KARR! I want them to make a series then and bring him back regular.

Wishful thinking, I know. But I want KARR to always live. I think if KITT should live (and he should) then KARR should too.

They will always leave it open for KARR to come back it leaves the story open for more

KARR should be re-programmed this time to keep him in

As long as Davilex don't write it or all you will gets is Michael and Kitt driving around having robots chase them

The thing with KARR not being killed off and returning more frequently is that the KITT-KARR encounters lose a bit of edge.

If KARR was part of the team, that would be some really good comic relief due to the "rivalry" KITT would have with KARR and vice versa.

Hmm...maybe have the movie start off kinda KITT vs KARR then have a 3rd party who was manipulating the strings come in, forcing KITT and KARR to work together?

How about the story having another twist?
We know that Karr was programmed incorrectly so why not explain that whilst Garth was serving time in Prison in Africa, Garth paid someone to deliberately reprogrammed Karr that way?

But Wilton Knight realised what had happened and had Karr put in storage.

Garth could never find what happened to Karr until he rediscovers Karr in the desert and has him rebuilt.

This is really strange. I incorporated pretty much both these ideas into a story/screenplay that I have been working on for more than a year now. I can't go into the details now, but, it's the basic jist of it.

I don't think KARR should even be considered for the movie?.....Maybe if the show was relaunched?,Then bring back KARR.

The movie should just stick with KITT.

Because I don't have the money, unfortunately. Seriously, I ALMOST grabbed a 4-cyl Firebird off eBay earlier this year but didn't have the money/time to put into it. Heck, I haven't done much with Dryden (my Pontiac 6000) this year due to my moving last winter, and work, etc. I do want to program an AI for Dryden though. He's like a bit like KARR in some ways but more like KITT in others. Maybe a "reprogrammed" KARR of sorts. Now he just needs a voice (computer and AI).

I'm going to be taking some courses this fall to expand my programming skills for work, and one of the languages I'm going to learn is C++, which I want to use for programming the AI.

I still want to make a KARR replica some day. But right now, I have to watch my expenses. With school coming up, and trying to recover from getting a new fuel pump in Dryden so he can start again (that was done over the 4th of July weekend), I'm tapped out on cash.

As for my model kits, I haven't touched them in months. They are still in engine construction mode.

Eventually, hopefully, I'll get there, maybe even a real replica.

There aren't too many KARR replicas in existance, though. Which if I make such a project, it'll sure be a rare one. Mine, if I make one, will be the two-tone black/silver with REAL AI (he WILL be able to communicate with you in a normal conversation!)

Though MY KARR won't be able to drive by himself. That would take too much work. Plus, do you REALLY want KARR to be THAT mobile in real life?
