Sorry if this is old news but I felt the need to post it.

Yesterday I saw the end of a show called Entertainment Daily on TV1 in Australia (did anyone else see it?? It's satelite tv) and David H was being interviewed. I missed some of it but one of the topics raised was the movie. Apparently it's going to get underway very soon with a 2008 release.

This was new news to me but sorry if you've already heard about it.

Personally, I really don't think it's even going to happen.

My other pet fandom is Phantom of the Opera. We waited from around 1995 until 2005 for its movie release. It was bought, it was sold, it was shelved, and it finally got made.

Granted, it got made with an Erik who cannot sing and was not overly disfigured (*sigh* ), but it got made. And it was enjoyable for all but the most uptight of phans.

Anywhoo, have faith guys.
