the Online Sun is reporting that Hasselhoff says he'll be reprising his role as Michael Knight. Not exactly a reliable source, but it is what it is.
"And speaking at London's Mint Leaf restaurant after the launch of new play Avenue Q, David admitted he couldn't wait to get back in the driving seat. The star exclusively told Sun Online: "It's great to be back as Michael Knight."

He added: "When I was in Chicago in the West End, no less than four KITT cars turned up.
"Some fans from Sweden brought their specially-made version of the car to show me as did some fans all the way from India."
Yaaay! Fans from Sweden brought their replicas too! How nice to know that there were some Swedish fans attending as well!

Just to clarify, The Sun is a tabloid newspaper here in the UK, and this is the Sun Online, which carries selected stories from the paper.

after all, he DOES appear behind the wheel of a RHD KITT replica in the song "jump in my car..."
