did anyone else notice that in the pilot its David Hasselhoff and not the other guy playing the part of michael long at the part where he gets shot in the face....

pretty obvious as DH is a lot more square jawed than the other bloke...

It does tell you that in the commentary with season 1 DVD

They also intentionally made that scene very dark. I heard that they couldn't afford Larry Anderson anymore at that point, so they just had Hasselhoff film that particular scene. It's very obvious that Michael is played by two different people in the pilot though. Larry Anderson doesn't look or act ANYTHING like Hasselhoff.

you really should have said Michael Knight gets shot rather than making it sound like David Hasselhoff was shot.

There is a moment where David's face is in direct light and you can really tell it's him.

I knew it was him out there anyway. You can tell by the face shape. The guy that actually falls on the car and down to the ground is a stunt man. If you pay close attention to body shape you know when it is David and when it isn't.

james, the reason i said DH gets shot is because he was the actor who filmed that scene, not Larry Anderson (the name i couldnt remember in the original post!!)

i think DH was used intentionally so that the scene could be reused with out paying royalties to LA

(makes sense to me anyway!!)
