KITT Question

Which episode did Kitt sink and melt?
All I can remember is, RC joining and his buddys helping Bonnie re-make KITT.

The episode where KITT sank in a toxic pit was in season 3. It was called Junk Yard Dog, and was one of my fav eps.
Where KITT gets torn to pieces is in Knight of the Juggernaut. The ramrod is what messed KITT up in that ep and RC joins the Knight gang.

I would agree. The eps after JYD is the basis for my conversion. I might even go with the replica after KOTJ (season 4) and have a "dummy" "C" button, just 'cause I've never seen that before.

Has anyone done a proper KITT convertible?
I know Steve (think from KOE) had a rare Firebird convertible he fitted Knight Rider parts to, but the back wasn't right for it to be a proper KITT convertible.
