Yeah, I can kind of see Jennifer Aniston as Bonnie, But "Christine"?.....Unless I'm mistaken, KR wasn't written by Stephen King!...Killer KITT indeed! hehe

Damn you Pajaro! You beat me. :)

Not familiar with Lucas, what's he been in?

That's the craziest thing I have seen yet.

Well I think they got a good pick for Bonnie, but I think Michael Caine (Alfred from Batman Begins) would be a much better Devon Miles. I think Hopkins could pull off a good Wilton Knight though.

Josh Lucas..... meh. He's in that new Poseidon remake, he was also in the less then memorable movie Stealth. He played Reese Witherspoon's husband in Sweet Home Alabama, and I think he played the first human to really tick off the hulk in the recent hulk movie.

Jennifer Aniston's one of my favorite actresses! I'd love to see her play Bonnie. I don't know about Anthony Hopkins as Devon. I guess I've seen Silence of the Lambs to many times.

Any car but Christine would make a good KITT. I would like to go with a Firebird if they could use one.

I don't like any of the 'dream cast' as they cast them. If they bring KARR back, then Josh Lucas should be KARR's driver. Not KITT's.

The way the dream cast looks, it looks like they are trying to create Knight Rider 1957 and not Knight Rider of the 21st Century!

Jennifer Anistion? I think Jennifer Garner would be a better choice.

I hope they were just kidding with Christine playing KITT. I don't have a clue who to get to play Michael but I definitely think Michael Caine would be much better for the part of Devon. I also agree that Anthony Hopkins would make a better Wilton Knight. We'll all just have to see who is casted. :)

My own dream cast of the "Knight Rider' movie would be:
D. Hasselhoff as Michael Knight as a mentor, a la Devon Miles/crimefighting partner alongside his son and daughter, not to mention the original KITT
Tom Welling as Michael Knight's son
Charlize Theron or Jessica Alba as Michael Knight's daughter(from when he was Michael Long)
Halle Berry as Bonnie Barstow(if Patricia McPherson's not available)
William Daniels as the voice of KITT
This is just fantasy, but Angelina Jolie as April Curtis
Jamie Foxx as RC3(if Peter Parros isn't available)
I hope you all will enjoy this latest round of fantasy casting from me. :D  8)

Josh Lucas was in the Hulk trying to get Jennifer Connely's character.

Please, if someone who is even remotely involved with the new movie and reads this.... please please please pick Tom Welling as the new Michael Knight and let David be his mentor 8) !!! I think that Tom has a similar kind of feel that David delivers on screen... he would be perfect for the new Michael to be honest...

I think Tom Welling would be a a great choice. He sort of reminds me of David a little bit. He's tall with dark wavy hair, and blue eyes. I definitely think I could see him behind the wheel of KITT. :) We'll just have to see though...

I believe there has been something that has been overlooked in the dream cast. Who would do the voice of KITT if William Daniels refused to do the voice? :kitt2: :dash: :kitt:

I think Tom Welling would do fine as Michael's Son as well. I think either him or Orlando Bloom (dodging tomatoes here. :) ) I also think Paul Walker would be good too. I liked his work in The Fast and The Furious.

I'm not even sure we'll see Bonnie. Larson has always said that the reason she didn't appear in the original pilot was that she wasn't needed -- in the "origin" story Michael breaks with the organisation (FLAG), he's in at the deep end with just him and the car, which also creates conflict with Michael and Devon. Since the movie is essentially going to be retelling that story (it looks that way right now) Bonnie isn't guaranteed to show up in any way, shape or form.

It's also worth noting that Bonnie wasn't a Larson creation -- she was 1st Season Producer Steven E. de Souza's (but under Larson's guidance). It's possible that Larson could ignore all the Knight Rider "mythology" that came after his run of writing the pilot and/or advising on the first 13 segments. All the stuff that didn't come from him in the first place. No Garthe or Goliath, no Cameron Zachary, no RC3, April, K.A.R.R. or Stevie. I wouldn't be surprised if a Stevie-like character shows up though, in place of the Maggie subplot in the original.

Glen Larson

I think its 95%to100% fake because glen larson isnt stupid he's putting this movie together he wrote the script and he would have a very big say in this
movie and would not want it to flop at the box office like masters of the universe or superman IV and tv movies like knight rider two thousand and 2010 so I hope he does a good job and I dont doubt the master for a second. 8)

Off topic to this post, but...

Thbbbpt :P

I happened to really love that movie.

As for the movie cast? Who cares as long as the movie is good and involves a talking car named Kitt? Beggars can't afford to be choosers, really. I would be more worried about plot at this point than who's playing who.
