New here, with KITT-inspired ZX2!

Hi! I just joined the board after checking it out for a while. Ever since I first saw Knight Rider back in college, I've been facinated with the KITT interior. My current car is a 2002 Ford Escort ZX2, and I have re-done the interior with inspirations from KITT. You can check it out at http://www.cardomain.com/ride/390119
Obviously, it's not a true replica -- it's not a Trans Am -- but I think you'll be able to see the influence. One thing not in these pictures is a scanner that I put in the front. I got a JC Whitney scanner, cut into the front hollow plastic bumper and mounted it there, and put smoked plexiglas over it. I hope to have pictures soon.
And, to address a topic I have seen here before, to get the jet-turbine sound that KITT makes, I recorded a similar sound on an endless loop tape, which is hooked to a small amp and outside speaker under the car. Anytime I want the jet sound, I just throw a couple switches on my overhead control panel. Of course, being such a simple system, the pitch doesn't rise and fall with speed.
