Spray on armor anyone??

So I was reading about a 'force field system' being developed for tanks (basically a smaller version of the Star Wars program). Anyways, my buddy used to give me crap about 'spray on armor'. He originally asked if I ever thought it was possible. I replied that I did. He laughed at me....well, now I have the last laugh!!

Dang, that sounds incredibly like the molecular bonded shell. Heh, just wait another 20 years, it'll turn out that Knight Rider was right about everything and KITT was just tech from 2025 or so. ;)
