Well i was tinking today when i was listening to the radio i just thought to post this question to now your opinions.
1-If you add to choose a Queen song for the new Knight Rider movie what song it would be?
2-If the new KR was passed in the 80´s, 90´s would you think that music is aproprieted to the movie and why??

I'm not sure that's a fair question... I like Queen, but I don't think their music style fits the tone of Knight Rider.
If the movie takes place in the present, then I think it should have music from the present. If they wanted to do it as a comedy (dangerous idea) then they could get away with a bunch of over-the-top 80s pop. If they are going to update the movie for a modern audience, then the music should also be updated. I have a fear that they'll go with a XXX-style pseduo-grunge-techno soundtrack. Personally I prefer a little more techno and a lot less grunge (and I realize I'm making myself look old by calling it "techno")

I'm with Mike on this one.. Queen's realy cool. But it's not KR. I could see them getting away with a "very short" 80's crack, but don't dwell on it.
I thinks a cross between Techno and a fast Metal sound would work.

Queen is more Highlander than it is Knight Rider. Now in my fantasies where the worlds can cross for steamy scenes, it works. But as much as I love Queen, it has a tendency of fitting more goth than it does high tech.
So, I will have to go with Mike on this one too.
Now...the Eagles, there we're talkin'.

This is bad, now I have images of Michael Knight jumping out of KITT, and brandishing a sword. (Hey, all you pervs, a real sword...!)
"I am Michael Knight of the family of Knight."
"And I am KITT."
"Brandish your sword, and prepare to lose your head, or face my car's bumper."
(Bad guy beats feet in the other direction, fully convinced that they have opened up the looney house and let the residents out to play as "The Show Goes On" by Queen plays in the background.)

Uh oh, I just had a nightmare of "Bohemian Rhapsody" playing whilst Michael and KITT chase down a desperate purse snatcher, who turns up to be a little boy. Eeek, I sure hope it isn't a comedy. Now, on to music for the movie, my predictions are for some pop, perhaps some hip hop, and rock, all done by the latest artists. I look for at least one song to be a decent hit. Heaven help me if Creed ends up on the soundtrack...I'll think I'll barf. As for my own tastes, Madonna wouldn't be so bad, or Michael Jackson(yeah, yeah...save your "Jacko" references.) These two artists could help bridge the gap between the 80's and today. Some southern rock mixed in wouldn't hurt at all. In fact, I wouldn't mind terribly if Kid Rock cut a song for it. I know Will Smith doesn't really do sountracks for other movies, but I wouldn't mind seeing him do something for this film. He's probably a big KR fan. And of course, some new version of the classic theme wouldn't be too bad, as long as it wasn't altered too much.

Oh...one I forgot to mention. Last, but certainly not least, Mr. George Strait!
P.S. That was just for you, Laura;) I knew you're a huge Strait fan, haha.

Why not just cast Aron Tippon as the lead Field Op.

How about getting modern artists to do covers of various 80s songs that were featured in the show. Like Shania Twain covering Laura Branigan's 'Self control' or something like that. Could work too.
