I can't talk now, I'm talking to my car

So my fiancee was watching TV the other night, and she said that she saw a clip about the David Hasselhoff divorce, and the media started to question him, and he said 'I can't talk now, I'm talking to my car', while acting like he was talking to KITT through his watch.

I looked through Google News, and couldn't find anything - but maybe someone here can confirm this. I thought it was pretty funny.

I heard something on the radio that they were talking about David's divorce and the trail and everything, and they said that they still don't know who's going to get custody of the talking car..lol

It would get custody of itself. :P

I heard it on all the entertainment shows. They say it's going to be a nasty one. But what I don't get is that they keep refering to him as the star of Baywatch. I know he did Knight Rider before that show.

That's funny. I saw on a web site the other day that Pam got a restraining order against David. I was like, oookkk. He has one daughter and she has the other. Gee, that has to be hard on the kids.

I thought this quote would be appropriate for the thread...

Michael: "You know you're about as much fun as a divorce──which is not a bad idea!"

K.I.T.T.: "I want custody of me!"

I have to say something about DH's divorce: It's one of the least interesting overexposed divorces in H'wood, and frankly, I'm DH divorce-d out.
I'm glad DH himself can still laugh at himself, though.
I wish for the whole thing to be ancient history.
I'm a fan of D.Hasselhoff, not his uninteresting and all-too-public divorce.

I honestly agree, Rossy; I feel as if I'm eyeing some kind of cannibal feast or something just as sickening.
I'm a child of divorce, and I feel for DH and his two daughters even now.

I am sure after 16 years of marriage that has to be hard. You know hollywood though they have to poke their nose into everyone's business.

Then again a Hollywood marrage never lasts long. I can put down a example or two, but the media does a better job then me.

Personally, I feel the anecdote of "Hello, I can't talk now, I'm talking to the telephone!", while DH was in Austria for the first time was a lot funnier, as seen on a DH fan club video that I still have.
And he wasn't in America at the time... :kittconv2: :) 8)
Cest la vie, folks; life will go on.

Even Conan O' Brien has poked fun at the divorce on the 31st of March episode of Late Night With Conan O' Brien = "David Hasselhoff is apparently having a divorce, its been all over the news, yeah, and his talking car wants his crap out of the trunk."

Personally, I've lost interest in DH divorce news, since that sort of thing has been in the news too much lately, and that kind of thing isn't worth watching on TV at all, either.
DH himself is still interesting to me, but the divorce news sure isn't. Sorry, folks....

Thanks for finding the clip that was cool.
