Armor Aloy weakened

I was wondering in the Start of Season 4 that some guys (other than Garth) were able to put chinks in the alloy that KITT has. Did Devon find a way to replace it?

The molecular bonded shell was dissolved prior to KITT's destruction by the Juggernaut in the first episode of season 4. Until Devon was rescued at the end of the episode, they were not able to restore the molecular bonded shell. They restored the shell "off camera" either right before the end of the epsiode (convertable demonstration), or right after the end of the episode. KITT has the shell for the rest of the season.

Garth got the formula in "Goliath". There were 3 people, each of whom knew 2 of the 3 components. No one person would know the formula, but any two of them would. Garth got the formula by getting his mother (Wilton Knight's widow) to kidnap two of the people (one of whom was Devon), so they could assemble the formula.

I often wonderd about kitts shell in that season, I mean one episode they open kitts roof and some one shoots inside, i thought only the outside was indisctructable??

They have exploded bombs in the trunk of Kitt twice. Season 3 Knightlines, and Season 4 Knight Racer.

I'm sure that they would have the interior be as indestructable as the exterior.
